The VTech DS6121 contains all the same features as the DS6111 basic cordless phone system, with the addition of a digital answering system. Like the DS6111, this phone operates using DECT 6.0 digital technology for better sound quality, security, and range than other cordless phone frequencies, and can store up to 50 calls with both Caller ID and call waiting features.

This device is also WiFi friendly and will not interfere with wireless networks and other electronic devices in the household, resulting in better conversation clarity. A speakerphone is also incorporated so users can enjoy hands-free conversations. Unique to the DS6121, however, is a digital answering system with up to 15 minutes of recording time and remote message retrieval. The DS6121 is also Energy Star qualified, indicating it meets strict energy efficiency guidelines set out by the US Environmental Protection Agency and the US Department of Energy. Additional features include 50 name and number phonebook directory, any key answer, selectable ringtones, voicemail waiting indicator, and blue backlit keypad and display. Available in Silver/Black.
