When compared to another handset from Panasonic, the KX-TGA939T, the KX-TGA651B has some disadvantages, such as a lower phonebook memory. It is however, in some aspects it is superior, such as having a longer battery life.
The DECT 6.0 technology of the KX-TGA651B enables the phone to have a longer range, as well as enhancing sound quality. It ensures the phone will not interfere with other wireless devices (routers, keyboards, etc) and protects against eavesdropping as well. The Silent Mode of the phone allows a user to set a phone so it doesn't ring. This way, it won't disturb a user if they're sleeping. The KX-TGA651B uses text-to-speech technology to use it's talking caller ID feature, where it speaks out the name of the caller in between rings.
