Panasonic KX-TG9391
$180.00
Released September, 2004
The Pros:Range is extreme, can go very far without losing the signal. Noise cancellation seems to work effectively, never notice interference. Caller ID pops up right away, don't have to wait a few rings.
The Cons:Intercom function when paging from a satellite phone won't work unless you keep paging over and over until you get the right one. Names in the phone book on the base can be grouped, but when copied to the handsets the groups are lost. Programming and setup is difficult and awkward, menus are needlessly complex.
The Panasonic KX-TG9344 expandable digital corded/cordless answering system is a high end product with many features and multi-handset capability. DECT 6.0 (Digital Enhanced Cordless Telecommunications) technology allows the user to move around the home freely with long range and clear sound.

Operating in the 1.9GHz frequency range, this phone will not conflict with other wireless devices in the home. The 2-line operating system allows the user to conference in two outside lines for a three-way conversation, or to place the current call on hold while making another call. During a power outage, the corded handset still works even while the electricity doesn't. With Night Mode, you can choose where the phone rings, as each individual handset can be programmed to ring, or to not ring, at the user's discretion. This phone comes with one corded handset with base and one cordless handset with charger, with the option of adding up to five additional handsets. Additional features include intercom, speaker phone, call block, Caller ID, and digital answering machine. Available in Black Metallic only.
