It has a single main base, and three additional battery charging stations for the other handsets. The handsets have large LCD backlit displays, and the system comes with a built-in digital answering system with individually selectable and listed voice mails. The phone also features a block list that can ignore programmed numbers and give them a busy signal if they call again. The handsets have silent mode as well as programmable talking alarms and battery life indicators. Other features include call waiting ID, handset locator, talking caller ID and 4-way conference calling. The batteries charge in about 7 hours, and last for 11 hours on standby or 5 hours of talk time. All 4 handsets can be used as an intercom. This is the maximum number of handsets that Panasonic includes with this particular base model.
