Motorola HS1001

The Motorola HS1001 is a cordless, at-home DECT 6.0 phone featuring the Google Android v1.6 operating system, making it a first of its kind. It was initially released in the UK, then later ported to the US in Q2 2010.

It features dual Wi-Fi technology, which means it can connect to both its base station and an at-home 802.11b/g/n network, allowing users to dial friends AND surf the web. Plus the docking station includes a speaker, so the device can be used to play music. Additional features include a 2.8” touchscreen display with a virtual keypad, MicroSD memory expansion, and a DSPG processor. Critics describe the HS1001 as “the iPhone for home.”
